Image Licensing & Attribution

We take image rights seriously. Every photo of an artist or group on this site comes from a free, verifiable source — never from an agency, fansite or press wire.

What we use

• Wikimedia Commons images under Creative Commons licenses or in the public domain, structurally verified to be the correct person or group before use.
• Our own assets (logo, Open Graph image, icons), which we own.

What we do NOT use

We do not use official agency photos, Weverse/fancafe images, fansite “fansite-master” photos, paparazzi or press-wire images, or images scraped from search engines. When no free, verified photo of a person exists, we deliberately show a plain initials avatar rather than an unverified or copyrighted image.

Attribution

Images link back to their Wikimedia Commons source, where the author and the specific license for each file are listed. Creative Commons licenses require attribution to the original photographer/uploader, which the linked Commons page provides. If you are a rights holder and believe attribution is missing or incorrect, please contact us and we will fix it.

Requesting a change or removal

If you hold rights to an image and want it corrected, better attributed, or removed, email contact@kpophub.kr. We honour good-faith requests promptly. See also our Corrections Policy.
