Editorial & Content Policy
K-POP Fan Hub is an independent, unofficial fan site. This page explains what we publish, how we decide what goes live, and how we keep it accurate. Our guiding rule is simple: we would rather show less than show something wrong.
What we publish
- A comeback & tour calendar and schedule database — our core, original work: structured, de-duplicated event data you can filter, follow and add to your own calendar.
- Group and member profiles — factual reference data.
- A news feed that aggregates and links to reputable outlets, plus a small number of our own fact-checked, clearly-dated items.
We link, we don't rewrite
Our value is organising and verifying — not republishing other people's articles. Every news card shows its source and date and links to the original. We do not copy full articles or pass off rewritten news as our own reporting. The schedule database, not high-volume news, is the heart of the site.
Official vs. rumored
We prioritise information confirmed by official sources — agencies, artists, venues, promoters and ticketing pages. When something is widely reported but not officially confirmed, we either hold it until it is confirmed or label it clearly as unconfirmed. We do not present rumors as facts, and we do not fabricate dates, venues, links or quotes.
How we use AI — and where a human decides
We use AI as a drafting and research assistant, in three specific stages:
- Drafting translations of interface text and summaries across our 12 languages.
- Structuring and tagging data — turning scattered announcements into clean calendar entries and matching news to the right artist.
- Surfacing candidate news for a human to review.
AI does not get the final say on facts. A human reviews and verifies dates, names, sources and links before anything is pinned or featured, confirms a story is genuinely about the tagged artist, and removes anything that cannot be confirmed.
